   • How to Use a Manual Grease Pump

1. Prepare the Pump:
   • Ensure the grease pump is clean and free from contaminants.

2. Attach the Hose:
   • Connect the hose to the pump and ensure the coupler is securely attached.
3. Prime the Pump:
   • Pump the lever or grip several times to prime the pump and remove any air pockets in the hose.
4. Locate the Grease Fitting:
   • Identify the grease fitting (Zerk fitting) on the equipment or machinery that needs lubrication.
5. Connect the Coupler:
   • Attach the coupler to the grease fitting. Ensure a secure connection to prevent leaks.
6. Pump the Grease:
   • Operate the lever or grip to dispense grease into the fitting. Continue until you see fresh grease oozing out of the joint or fitting.
7. Disconnect the Coupler:
   • Carefully disconnect the coupler from the grease fitting.
8. Wipe Excess Grease:
   • Wipe away any excess grease from the fitting and surrounding area to prevent dirt accumulation.

Maintenance

1. Regular Cleaning: Clean the pump and coupler after each use to prevent grease buildup and contamination.
2. Check for Leaks: Inspect the pump and hose for any leaks or damage and repair or replace as necessary.
3. Proper Storage: Store the pump in a cool, dry place to avoid degradation of the grease and components.
4. Lubricate Moving Parts: Periodically lubricate the moving parts of the pump to ensure smooth operation
